Personal Page - What I Do For Fun

Yeah, that's me oppposite. I took this (recent) shot of myself on my ten second self-timer shutter delay (enough time to go and sit down in front of the camera). OK, a lot of water has gone under the bridge, I'm an old guy...

But as somebody once said, if you didn't know how old you were, how old would you act? I love that saying, it's like my dog Bailey, who doesn't know he isn't a puppy anymore and still wants to chase the stick.

I've had a good summer and finally learned to play golf reasonably well. It's been a long journey - I spent a lot of money at the driving range, like so many others, looking for the secret (yes, there is a secret, or should I say several secrets). I think I have learned most of them now, but I know there's so much more to learn. I used the video capabilities of my camera to study my swing, and read a lot of golf instruction - much of it misleading or theoretically suspect. So am thinking of posting a video journal here to show what I've learned - a sort of hacker's progress - or maybe some stuff on photography for those who want to get into it.
